Objectives

  • Balls
  • 4 plates (to mark the corners of the square)

  • Junior E to adults players

  • Minimum of 5 players (1 per corner of the square, 2 where the game starts)

  • 10 to 20 minutes

Organisation

  • Create a square with 4 plates at the 4 corners (adjust the size according to age: 10m for E then enlarge if it doesn’t work). Place 5 players: one at each corner of the square and two where the ball starts.

Procedure

  1. Player A passes to player B (next corner in the chosen direction).
  2. Immediately after the pass, player A runs to the corner vacated by player B.
  3. Player B receives, passes to player C and runs to their place.
  4. The movement continues smoothly and quickly: pass + simultaneous movement.
  5. Continue for 2-3 minutes without interruption.

Variations

  • Reverse direction: pass in the opposite direction
  • Two balls: add a second ball to increase the intensity
  • With obstacles: add cones to go around before passing
  • Limit touches: gradually increase the pace
  • Double the passes.
  • Do a 1-2-3 (A passes to B, who passes it back and then plays it to C, who passes it to B, who plays it to D, who passes it to C, who plays it to A, etc.).
